More pose studies

Managed to get 3 studies done this weekend. First off here they all are as a group.

Pose study

A quick pose study. Went onto posemaniacs.com and drew the first random pose. Fully fleashed out and coloured.

I am fairly happy with the results but I want to improve my work flow.

Just trying to refine my style at the moment.

Request from 2 ladies i met on holiday.

Whilst on holiday around a month ago I asked 2 of the bar staff if I could draw them. Well I finially finished this request and here are the results.

I really enjoyed working on these. I suppose I best get back to some studies.

Well I am out and about again. Whilst I wait for this event to finish I took out my sketchbook and got drawing. Some quick hand studies followed by some landscapes.

Well I am on holiday at the moment so I decided to do some very quick sketches. Been a long time since I done 15 to 30 sec drawings so I am a little rusty.

Head study

Heads. Lots of 'em.
I think the next thing to do is the traditional paint studies.

Line study and anatomy

Lets get this show on the fucking road. Stepping things up. Line studies aswell as multiple Loomis studies. Will have more very soon. Thinking of studying faces or legs as I am weak on drawing legs.

Line quality

One of my biggest problems at the moment is line quality. They tend to be wobbly. This needs to be dealt with. Just some simple exercises to improve my line work. These are likely to be going on for a while.

Too hot to draw

Well it is still perspective week but the heat is making drawing very uncomfortable. Lines are terrible in this so I think next week well be line quality week.

So after about 10 minutes of deliberation I have decided to make this week perspective week. Enjoy the latest batch of studies.

Applied perspective

This is turning out to be perspective week isn't it. I have been drawing various bottles around the house. Nothing too exciting and my lines are very wobbly owing to lack of confidence but still, at least I am learning.

Well here is the non glamorous side of drawing. More perspective studies. Just some random objects laying around. I so would rather be drawing boobs. 

God damn perspective

So I am back at the beginning again. Studying the fundamentals. Basic 2 point perspective whilst in a waiting room getting board off my ass. Line quality is piss poor but that was not the point of this study.

Bad drawing day

had a bad drawing day today. Meh these things happen. Still must press on. Here is todays quick mess. Persepctive is shit and I cant shade today for shit. Really having trouble focusing.

NEW SKETCHBOOK BITCHES!!!

Well after being told last night during my weekly live chat that I plan too much and don't actually accomplish anything I decided to set up this blog to prove him wrong (even though he was right on this occasion).

Welcome to my new sketchbook. Just don't mention tea and we will get along fine. Mention tea and I will hunt you down and remove one of your limbs (your choice which) with a rusty spoon.

So what can you expect from this blog... Well what ever I damn well feel like, but mainly gesture drawings, anatomy studies, life drawings, and photo studies.

So lets get this bitch started. Sooner we start sooner we can rub this in the face of he who shall not be named.
